The Plated Pet is not a marketplace; it is a curated Collective of culinary integrity. We are the architects of a new standard in pet provisions, and our menu is reserved for the absolute best of the best. We seek the rare few—the true artisans who have created something so original and pure it has never been seen on a commercial shelf.
The Challenge of the Classic:
We celebrate those who dare to take a classic and turn it into something unique—breathing all-new life into time-honored staples and steering them in a bold, elevated direction. Whether your creation is a brand-new discovery or a classic redefined, it must represent the pinnacle of craft.
II. The Mandates for Residency
To even be considered for the Plated Pet Collective, you must prove your integrity across our four pillars of excellence:
- 1. Absolute Purity: Every ingredient must be 100% ALL NATURAL. Every product must have a Guaranteed Analysis for nutritional accuracy.
- 2. Legal & Professional Standing: Registered LLC or Corporation, fully insured, and state-licensed.
- 3. Originality Only: No copycats. Your creation must be a unique gift from you to the pet world.
- 4. Artisanal Presentation: Artisanal Presentation: No commercial packaging. We require a "plated experience" reflecting the luxury of the brand.
III. The Four Phases of Selection (The Gauntlet)
- Phase 1: Application & Intent. Submission of the full brand story and product vision via the digital residency form.
- Phase 2: Legal & Lab Verification. A rigorous audit of all uploaded licenses, insurance, and tax documentation.
- Phase 3: Visual Documentation. Submission of high-resolution imagery showing the "plated" product and the 4x6 brand insert card.
- Phase 4: The Jury Selection. A physical sample is sent for final review. Approval or denial is final.
IV. Financial Logistics & Payouts
The Plated Pet utilizes an automated Shopify Multi-Vendor Dashboard for transparent operations.
- House Commission: A 15% flat commission is retained on all sales.
- Processing Fees: Standard merchant fees (approx. 3% + $0.30) are deducted at the point of sale.
- Payout Trigger: Funds are released to the Resident Artisan on a rolling basis once the order is Confirmed Shipped (triggered by the initial carrier scan).
V. Customer Integrity & Tenure
- Integrity Mandate:Excellence is our only standard. If an item arrives distressed or fails to meet the "Plated" expectation, the Resident must immediately replace the item or provide a full refund at the customer's discretion.
- Tenure & Collective Growth:Residency is a year-long invitation, renewable only by the House. Founding Residents earn seniority and priority status as we grow together through mutual word-of-mouth and elite social engagement.
- Maintenance:Artisans are legally obligated to maintain all required licensing and insurance for the entire duration of their residency. Any lapse in standing results in immediate revocation.
